The PTOS is a membership-based organization for Patent and Trademark professionals and other interested individuals. From its inception in 1917, the Society has been dedicated to the improvement and appreciation of the United States Patent and Trademark Systems through promoting the systems' growth and well-being, as well as promoting the social and intellectual welfare of the Society members.

Why We Participate

"To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts"...these words embedded in the Constitution of the United States of America echo the reasons why the Patent and Trademark Office Society participates in Intel ISEF every year. Nurturing talent in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) starts at an early level, and we wish to encourage students to pursue their career aspirations as they will be our STEM leaders of tomorrow.
