American Society for Horticultural Science



Founded in 1903, the purposes of the American Society for Horticultural Science are to promote and encourage national and international interest in scientific research and education in horticulture in all its branches.


Why We Participate

Science is critical for the future of humankind. The young people who are finalists in the Intel ISEF represent the future of science in all forms, and ASHS is proud to acknowledge and encourage their work now and into the future by being a Special Award Organization.
