The mission of the American Psychological Association is to advance the creation, communication and application of psychological knowledge to benefit society and improve people's lives. The APA is a scientific and professional organization that represents psychology in the United States. APA is the largest association of psychologists worldwide.


Why We Participate

APA hopes to promote a psychologically literate public and engage a future generation of researchers. APA is committed to supporting the promotion of scientific research and education at the secondary school level. We enthusiastically offer special awards to Intel ISEF participants whose projects display excellence in psychological research.
